I was immediately met with a realization that I don't have this "father" thing figured out as well as I had hoped. . The quality that most stands out about Pastor Bayly's book on fatherhood is the very thing that stands out in his blog writing, preaching and speaking: it is a pastoral book.Today the term "pastoral" has been loaded with all sorts of meanings.
