Most classic banjo players are accustomed to reading sheet music written for the banjo. However, most other banjo players do not read music, and most people will not start out in classic banjo. This book is the perfect introd. something fun and new I love that this comes with a CD. I've only been playing for two years and I don't have a lot of time to practice, but in a few weeks I have already learned four songs from this book. Music is written in tab and traditional music notes, which I find helpful. I can pick out the melody on the piano first to get a feel for the music before I try it on the banjo from tabs. The songs are mostly easy to access, but there are some trickier mazurkas that may stretch your timing if you have never
