First novel in 2-book series, OK, but second book is much better! Serina Samuels I have numerous books of N Roberts and, while not her best one, it was a nice read. Again, I am never comparing this type of novels to, Tolstoy or O'Henry, so I always try to keep it in perspective. As romance novels go, this one is a very cute story, at times warm, mostly sensual and provocative, sometimes not very believable fantasy.When you are in the mood for this sort of entertainment, like for example, on a beach, or during a long plain ride, or a rainy weekend, this book is perfect.Plus, I liked the idea of an independant, complicated, talented heroine having a strong mind and deciding, for a change, to take charge and g.
