DESCRIPTION:
"Interesting read. Recommend." according to Margaret Storrs. I gave this read five stars not because I agreed with everything presented, but because it got me thinking more critically about our history as a modern society. I certainly would recommend it to others. Interesting theories regarding mass assumption/behavior of g. Useful knowledge and it's free! The book contains useful information and it is free from Amazon. It would be prudent to accumulate such knowledge now and especially since it is available at no cost.. RJ said Five Stars. Very good book!
Anyone, as Freud tells us in "Reflections on War and Death", forced to react against his own impulses may be described as a hypocrite, whether he is conscious of it or not. One might even venture to assert - it is still Freud's argument - that our contemporary civilization favors this sort of hypocrisy and that there are more civilized hypocrites than truly cultured persons, and it is even a question whether a certain amount of hypocrisy is not indispensable to maintain civilization.
