APPARENTLY, I SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST NeuroSplicer Following Michael Crichton's untimely death, I decided to complete my library with his works. The GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY was the only one missing and, I must say, although not the usual Science-Thriller Crichton had accustomed us to, it had the writer's signat. "Interesting, but" according to Katka. as a novel, this book is too dry, technical and lacks luster. As a nonfiction account of a historical event, it's very interesting and well told.I would have liked it to be more like a novel, with richly crafted characters and settings.I had a hard time wit. "Great story with a lot of research and history." according to Amazon Customer. Rest in peace Michael. You were one of the best out there. I doubt if any author has ever done as much research as Michael Crichton on any of his books.
