Well-written and illustrated account of an exceptional author and artist. This book is filled with meaningful details about the life of this wonderful author. In addition to the many sketches she used as the basis for her finished works are recounts of the many people who inspired and encouraged her throughout her life. This would be great for young people to read on their own or to use in a group setting as part of a study of how to succeed..
